Niako Nikolashvili

My name is Nia Nikolashvili, a 21-year-old painter from Tbilisi, Georgia. I work primarily with oil and acrylic on canvas, exploring emotion, psychological states, and the inner world of human experience through surreal and expressive forms. For me, painting is a way to transform invisible feelings into visual language through color, texture, gesture, and composition. I am especially interested in process-based painting and experimentation, allowing intuition and spontaneous decisions to shape the work naturally as it develops. Participating in this residency would allow me to expand my artistic practice in a new environment, exchange ideas with other artists, and continue developing emotionally driven work through painting.
